Remembering Our Heritage

Excalibur Engineering began in 1972 in a garage with just the electrical engineering expertise and drive of our first President, Fon Brown Sr. Although business was good, it was limited geographically. After 10 years as an electrical device design and manufacturing company working on a multitude of medical, industrial, and consumer products, Jeff had a vision to expand capabilities and diversify into a full product development company focusing predominantly on the medical device industry.

With the help of his son, Jeff Brown, the company began to rapidly expand as a full-service “concept to reality” engineering company. Excalibur Engineering began to grow with new employees and new engineering projects. Over the course of nearly 30 years, we have grown to incorporate all of the major disciplines of engineering including, mechanical, optical, and software and firmware.

We have remained a medium sized company by choice, we are flexible, intuitive, and fast-paced company without the hassles of “big company bureaucracy”. With all that Excalibur Engineering has achieved, our strongest assets are still… our GREAT EMPLOYEES.
